Aaron Lambert, LMFT
Owner

I'm Aaron. At a young age I suffered a great deal of trauma and felt alone and invisible to those that were supposed to love and protect me. In finding myself over these many years I resisted allowing anything to be known of my darkest parts. I even refused to do my own therapy and used secrecy and favorable personality traits to appear well-adjusted. People in my life have been hurt by my actions at times and I carried a burden of shame where I could have seen potential for growth. Sometimes in order to survive, our parts create masks to hide who we truly are from the world.

I seek to understand the stories that clients entrust to me. Through guided therapeutic intervention focused on your specific needs I will help you find yourself. If there is a topic important to you that I do not already grasp, I will research it. EMDR trained, IFS familiar, Systems-educated; I have over 20 years experience teaching, leading, counseling, and holding space when others cannot. Let me help you stand steady in your storm. Let us anchor you while you find your bearing. Give us a call, text or email. We will be here.

Sheresa Wilson PA-C, LMHCA

I'm Sheresa. My road to counseling has been long, as are most roads to worthwhile places, it seems. I first went to school to be a physician assistant, and I’ve been doing family medicine since 2008, with a particular interest in mental health and addictions. I later went back to school for mental health counseling (2018), and then again for addictions counseling (2022).
I still do some family medicine, as well as working in psychiatric emergencies, and now I’m headed back into the world of individual counseling to finish up my post-grad hours. I work with teens and adults, and I often start with DBT or parts work (IFS), although I have been trained in and use other modalities as well.
Outside of my various academic and vocational ventures, I’m mom to 4 awesome kids adopted internationally from 3 different countries. I like plants and baby goats, audiobooks and learning new things. I like talking to people, and it’s always an honor to hear their stories. I believe that not only my training but also my life experiences have prepared and enabled me to hold a safe space for a lot of what leads people to knock on doors like these. So if your road is feeling long and a you need a quiet place to rest, I hope you’ll come in and have a seat.

Lily Ganshorn LMHCA

Hi, I’m Lily. I believe everyone deserves a space to heal and grow. Beginning counseling takes a lot of courage, so I strive to meet my clients where they are by taking a holistic, trauma-informed approach that respects you as the expert of your journey. I find value in collaboratively exploring the different parts of one’s experience and identifying the connection this may have to the past. To do this, I take a humanistic, client-focused approach, using therapeutic approaches such as Person-centered, Adlerian, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and more. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can be authentically you, feel heard, respected, and accepted, all while walking alongside you in your path to healing. My path to helping others began from both experiencing my own hardships as well as seeing the effects of hardship on others. Since then, I’ve found meaning in creating purposeful connections, self-growth, and continuous learning. I work with adults, teens, relationships/couples, and families.
If I’m not at work, I am likely spending time with my loved ones, my dog Sophie, or finding ways to embrace my creativity. I love the outdoors, coffee, and listening to music. Thanks for getting to know a bit about me, I’m hopeful to learn more about you!
Currently available on Monday to Thursday including evening hours,
at the North Office
Ruger

Ruger is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees. He loves being petted and brushed, napping, playing in the snow, and spending time with people. He's in training to be a certified therapy dog, and will hopefully be bone-ified soon!
Olivia Young, LMHCA

My name is Olivia and I am a licensed mental health counseling associate. I graduated from the University of Saint Francis with a Masters of Education in School Counseling and I recently passed examination towards additional licensure in clinical mental health. I have years of experience providing support to children and teens in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment to explore emotions, develop coping skills, and foster resilience. My background has given me a deep understanding of the developmental stages and life challenges that children and teens face, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief and family conflict. I utilize a variety of humanistic and evidenced-based therapeutic techniques including art and play therapy, in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dog, Moses, eating good food, traveling, thrifting, and listening to audiobooks and true crime podcasts.

Laci Johnson LMHCA

Hi, my name is Laci. I work with adults, couples, and families through a trauma-informed lens. I am fully affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals. I utilize client-focused interventions including EMDR, parts work, somatic, and emotion-focused. If you are struggling, I will meet you where you are to support you in your journey.
I believe that all individuals are complex, ever-changing beings with innate worth and abilities to heal. Choosing to pursue counseling takes courage, especially if you’ve lacked space to process your feelings in the past. I openly welcome and accept all emotions. I hope to create a supportive environment where we can converse openly without judgment. Together, we can work towards exploring, understanding, and reprocessing experiences that have left an imprint on your life.
I chose to become a counselor because of my appreciation for cultivating deep relationships, my desire to understand and affirm others’ experiences, and my personal experiences and struggles. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me sipping on a warm beverage while playing chess, listening to music, rewatching a favorite show, or spending time with loved ones. I appreciate you getting to know me a bit more and I am excited to learn more about you.
Currently available Friday to Monday (including the weekend)

Crystal Kish, Intern

Hi, I’m Crystal! I am currently a master’s level intern, and I am working on obtaining my master's in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Huntington University. I am fully affirming of LGBTQ+ individuals. I prefer to work with adults, but I have a lot of experience working with teens and young adults through crisis intervention. I believe that everyone has the right to mental health care because it is just as important and their physical health. Every person is different which means that every person will adapt to counseling in their own way. I hope to create a safe and judgement free environment where everyone can be comfortable.
I am very interested in breaking the stigma on mental health in first responders. As a firefighter/Advanced EMT myself, I understand the trauma that comes with that line of work and the tole it can take not only on the body but on the mind as well. I have experienced my share of traumatic calls and have learned ways to positively cope with the things I have seen first-hand. Breaking this stigma is important to me because I have seen the lack of resources that we have as first responders and I know how hard it is to talk to someone who has never experienced the types of traumas that we have.
When I’m not working or busy with school, I enjoy weightlifting, reading, and spending time with my cats Bocephus and Wilson.
Currently available varying hours throughout the week, at the North Office

Good Faith Estimate
When you get emergency care or are treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from balance billing. In these cases, you shouldn’t be charged more than your plan’s copayments, coinsurance and/or deductible. What is “balance billing” (sometimes called “surprise billing”)? When you see a doctor or other health care provider, you may owe certain out-of-pocket costs, such as a copayment, coinsurance, or deductible. You may have additional costs or have to pay the entire bill if you see a provider or visit a health care facility that isn’t in your health plan’s network. “Out-of-network” means providers and facilities that haven’t signed a contract with your health plan to provide services. Out-of-network providers may be allowed to bill you for the difference between what your plan pays and the full amount charged for a service. This is called “balance billing.” This amount is likely more than in-network costs for the same service and might not count toward your plan’s deductible or annual out-of-pocket limit. “Surprise billing” is an unexpected balance bill. This can happen when you can’t control who is involved in your care—like when you have an emergency or when you schedule a visit at an in network facility but are unexpectedly treated by an out-of-network provider. Surprise medical bills could cost thousands of dollars depending on the procedure or service. You’re protected from balance billing for:
Emergency services If you have an emergency medical condition and get emergency services from an out-of-network provider or facility, the most they can bill you is your plan’s in-network cost-sharing amount (such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles). You can’t be balance billed for these emergency services. This includes services you may get after you’re in stable condition, unless you give written consent and give up your protections not to be balanced billed for these post-stabilization services. Certain services at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center When you get services from an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, certain providers there may be out-of-network. In these cases, the most those providers can bill you is your plan’s in-network cost-sharing amount. This applies to emergency medicine, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, laboratory, neonatology, assistant surgeon, hospitalist, or intensivist services.
These providers can’t balance bill you and may not ask you to give up your protections not to be balance billed. If you get other types of services at these in-network facilities, out-of-network providers can’t balance bill you, unless you give written consent and give up your protections. You’re never required to give up your protections from balance billing. You also aren’t required to get out-of-network care. You can choose a provider or facility in your plan’s network. Your right to request a good faith estimate for nonemergency health care services under Indiana and Federal law. In Indiana, a patient may ask for an estimate of the amount the patient will be charged for a nonemergency medical service provided. Federal law requires that we provide a good faith estimate within 3 business days of your request, or within 1 or 3 business days of scheduling depending on the date services are to be provided. When balance billing isn’t allowed, you also have these protections: •
You’re only responsible for paying your share of the cost (like the copayments, coinsurance, and deductible that you would pay if the provider or facility was in-network). Your health plan will pay any additional costs to out-of-network providers and facilities directly. • Generally, your health plan must: Cover emergency services without requiring you to get approval for services in advance (also known as “prior authorization”). Cover emergency services by out-of-network providers. Base what you owe the provider or facility (cost-sharing) on what it would pay an in-network provider or facility and show that amount in your explanation of benefits. Count any amount you pay for emergency services or out-of-network services toward your in network deductible and out-of-pocket limit.
If you think you’ve been wrongly billed, you may contact the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency and/or the Department of Insurance to file a complaint: • For complaints against your provider: https://www.in.gov/pla/file-a-complaint/. • For complaints against your health plan: https://www.in.gov/idoi/consumer-services/filea-insurance-company-complaint/.
